ELA Assessment Bank
Description of why chosen: I created this bank of versatile, open ended items and project ideas to serve as a resource for ELA assessment. These open ended assessment items align with the Common Core State Standards for sixth grade ELA and can be adapted to a range of topics. They can be used as formative and summative assessments. In addition, this is a bank that I may continue to add ideas to as I am exposed to interesting assessments during student teaching. Easily accessible resources, such as this assessment idea bank, are extremely helpful to new teachers who need to make quick on the spot decisions.

InferringWhat can you as a reader infer about the main character based on his actions? Use evidence from the text.
